First discovered by Robert Bunsen and Gustav Kirchhoff in the 19th century, it was first named Lilalite after its soft radiant Lilac coloring but was later renamed Lepidolite.

Lepidolite is known as a soothing stone that can help to relieve anxiety and depression hence why it is often called "peace" or "Grandmother" stone because its energy is nurturing and healing. Like a wise grandmother it can help one to find tranquility see clearly to find understanding and balance in times of turbulence and transition

Lepidolite is a very protective stone against negative energies and is believed to shield the environment and wearer by deflecting all harmful energies including external influences, negative intentions, provide psychic protection and absorb electromagnetic pollution.

Lepidolite, Loves cleanse and energized regularly by placing it under the moonlight, smudging with sage, or using other crystals like Selenite, Amethyst.

If wearing Lepidolite take it off when bathing and to avoid exposing it to water as this will danage the stone and possibly cause fading
