Although Yooperlite sounds and looks like something of fiction, it is actually 100 percent natural. It was first discovered in 2017 by geologist Erik Rintamaki in the Lake Superior Yooper region of northern Michigan that used to be home to the Yooperlite people . Making this stone even more unique It displays an orange or yellow glow under UV light that is similar to the color of volcanic magma.
